Marcie McLeod

Director of Client Services

The funds we receive make it possible for us to support people with Acquired Brain Injury who have slipped through the cracks, aren't getting service, and are feeling hopeless.   We are able to help them rebuild their often shattered lives and give them hope again.

Amanda McFarlane

Group Programs Coordinator

Our group programs offer a variety of opportunities that are not always covered in traditional health care practices.  At BrainTrust we recognize the importance of things such as art and music as an important part of recovery and wellness.  As a non-profit, we rely on donations to run these groups that are so effective.

BrainTrust Client - Severe Concussion

My life changed dramatically for the better when I found BrainTrust.  I finally had the advocacy I so desperately needed.  I am so thankful for the dedicated staff who never hesitate to go the extra mile in assisting their clients to cope with the challenges of daily living.

Because You Give

BrainTrust Canada is grateful for our funders and sponsors who make it possible for us to provide brain injury prevention, education, and support services to our community.

Your donation can also help us:

  • buy a bicycle helmet for a child
  • teach children and youth prevention strategies
  • create and present programs that raise awareness of brain injury including the personal, social, and financial costs
  • provide peer support, reducing the anxiety/depression caused by isolation
  • teach a person with brain injury how to cook again
  • support families in staying together
  • help someone with brain injury find a safe, secure home

Client Stories

We're excited about the successes our clients experience when they connect with us.  Because of donors like you, we're able to help people like Shelley, Mark, and many others.

We're sure you'll be moved by their stories, too.

Brain injury is a silent epidemic.

Help us give it a voice.
